Schrecker and Me at Brandeis
This blog by David Horowitz is short and to the point. But it is true. I have a special kinship to Horowitz. When I was young I thought of him and those like him, Abby Hoffman, Jerry Rueben, and others of the late 60s, early 70s as heroes. But after spending time in college during the 80s after serving in Army in the 70s, I came to realize the falsehoods of the radical New Left and the true agenda of the young professors I meet that were part of that movement.
I had a few issues I felt close to at the time and thought they were important enough to involve myself with leftist and liberals, but soon (not soon enough for I was president of the left-wing anti-nuke/peace group on campus for a year) found how the radical left attempted to co-op many social issues in order to gather power for their true issue and that issue was a radical change of the moderate world view of the majority. Into a new world view which is controlled and promoted by an “elite” educated minority void of Judeo-Christian values and morals.
At first I was concerned for the care of our Nation's veterans which I thought were short changed, being used up and discarded after fighting in an unpopular war. I felt they were ignored and neglected, which enticed me at the time toward leaning toward the prevention of war and calling for social programs to care for our veterans. This also lead me to ponder on the proliferation of nuclear weapons and I found myself falling in line with the left wing environmentalist, thinking nuclear energy was also a bad thing. Naively assuming that nuclear power was totally bad having no good or useful qualities. And of course I began to believe, with the encouragement of my professors that our Nation was the evil Nation and foolishly thought if we unilateral disarmed then the world would be safe. But they were wrong, for the rest of the world was and is capable of doing far more evil then most of us in this country could ever imagine, far more then this Nation has ever came close of committing.
David Horowitz is a kindred spirit; I don't agree with him 100 percent. But he is right that our universities and colleges are controlled by Left Wing ideologues which reject educational and intellectual freedom and use their positions to indoctrinate the young in their failed theories of socialism and disorder. Promoting anti-democratic ideas and spreading an anti-Semitic world view, even when they claim to exposing the same.
They are the masters of Newspeak.

The random musings of a madman is what you find here. For those that bore easy, you may want to just move on. This blog is a way for me to share my thoughts, criticism, and wisdom (LOL), very much random most of the time, so say my sons. But what is random to the young is really all part of God's plan. So please enter into the world in which I created in my mind, the world as plotted out within the Barry Freedman’s Conspiracy.
