Got kicked out of the library,
23 degrees outside.
Missed the trolly to nowhere,
lost my back pack in Dog Town.
It is cold outside and all the shelters are full.
Week ago things seemed ok again, almost normal.
A sweet young lady with cornrow hair gave me a gift card to Starbucks,
able to buy two cups of coffee with plastic money.
It is cold outside.
Seven more days and it will be Christmas Eve.
If you get the priviledge to see someone hungry,
remember gift cards from McDonalds go a lot further then gift cards from Star Bucks.
